Mike Tyson exchange wedding rings with Lakiha Spicer, but not in ring!
Las Vegas, Boxer, Mike Tyson aged 42, Lakiha Spicer, 32, applied for the marriage license on June, 6, 2009 and later on the very day, tied knot with each other at the La Bella Wedding Chapel. The news was confirmed by the owner of the chapel i.e. Shawn Absher, who says: “Tyson’s marriage to Spicer took place on Saturday in a private ceremony at the La Bella Wedding Chapel.”
It’s for the third time when Mike Tyson exchange wedding vows, two weeks after the tragic treadmill accident, which took the life of his 4-years old daughter, Exodus. The daughter is from his previous marriage with Monica Turner, with whom he got hitched in 1997. The marriage lasted for five years. He tied knot for the first time with Robin Givens in 1988; the relationship lasted merely for 1 year.
Tyson and Spicer, requested for a simple ceremony with nothing special, Absher said. He further continued: “They just wanted to say the vows and be married,” he said. “It was very sincere. They were very heartwarming, and I think they really do love each other”. Absher also commented on the groom, saying: “He seemed happy _ and his life’s been up and down.”
The wedding was kept highly confidential, the bride wore the traditional wedding gown and the groom wore the suit.
