        Unit 6 Do you like bananas?

        Grammar focus

        话题:食物

        功能:能够谈论对食物的喜好

        语法:1.掌握动词like在一般现在时态的用法(肯定句和否定句)

               一般疑问句及其回答。

              2.能够正确使用下列表示食物的可数名词、不可数名词

               以及既可用作可数、 又可用作不可数的名词。

        重点:一般现在时态的第三人称单数;可数名词、不可数名词、

              以及既可数又不可数名词的归类。

        学校策略:通过分类的方式记忆单词

        文化策略:了解常见的西方食品、西方饮食文化差异

         

        Step 1. Warming up

        Ask students to have a memory challenge.

        Teacher shows the pictures in 20 seconds and get them to say out the names of food they remember. The more, the better. When the student says out the words, maybe teacher gets him to spell it if possible.

        Step 2. Write more

        Classify the names of food ( fruit,vegetables,meat,drinks,stable food, desserts).

        Get students to write more names of food. Try to spell some of the words.

        Get them to discuss with their partner to share their words.

        Step 3. Summary

        Ask some of the students if they like ice-cream. “Do you like ice-cream?” “ Dose....like ice-cream?”

        “Do they like ice-cream?”

        Then get them to see more sentences on page33. The first three sentences and ask them why we use “do” and “does”.

        Get them to focus on the names of food? Ask how they are different? Why?

        Get them to put the words into right boxes.

        Discuss with you partner first,then share answers.

        Focus on some special words,”chicken” and “chickens”

        Do a little quiz about the words,and get them to spell it.

        Step 4. Pair work

        Teacher shows the menu and get them to talk about their likes and dislikes.

        Then one of them to tell us your and your partner’s likes and dislikes.

        Get them to see more sentences on page 33 the last three sentences.

        Ask why we use “do” and “does”.

        Then let them to help finish the teacher’s family’s likes and dislikes.

        When the student does it, please tell us why “do” and “does”.

        Step 5. Information gap

        Give them different charts about teachers’ likes and dislikes.

        Help finish the chart by asking your partner questions. Then give us the results.

        Get them to pay attention to “both” and “all”.

        Step 6. Exercise

        Please fill in the blanks. The article is about your foreign teacher’s family’s likes and dislikes. When sharing the answers, please give reasons. Present the word “dislike”

        Step 7. Writing

        Get them to write a passage about your and your teacher’s likes and dislikes.

        Try to use “both” and “all”.

        Step 8. Homework

        Polish your writing.

        Ask more students and make the menu better.
